A multi-disciplinary procurement engineering team was assigned to the project. Material and service requisitions were developed based on project documentation. The client needed assistance with sourcing as well. An extra advisory service was provided for vendor evaluation and strategic sourcing.
The assigned procurement engineers accompanied the client through technical and commercial bids, technical/commercial evaluations, and the final selection of vendors/contractors.
Benefiting from a wide network of suppliers in the industry, a cost-saving deal was negotiated which perfectly fit the project’s financial restrictions. Additionally, the client was provided with alternative suppliers located across different regions of the world, for supplying maintenance equipment and spare parts, which resulted in additional cost savings in the overhaul project.
